When coming up with the theme for this retreat, I wanted it to feel intentional.

 

What I mean by that is: I wanted there to be a goal behind the retreat, not for it to just be a day of relaxation…

 

A place where women could come to feel:

 

  • Changed 

  • More themselves

  • Connected spirituality (in whatever form that takes for you)

 

New Beginnings One Day Retreat is about taking a day out of your normal, busy life to do something different. 

 

There is an element of relaxation, but further than that, it's about letting go of the old and leaving with the new. It's a day to push you to think, reflect, and let go; a day to remember who you really are, allow old emotion to leave, and feel reconnected with her–your true self.

There are just 5 spots available - this will be an intimate retreat.

Keeping this goal in mind for the day, I've asked two other women to take part in your transformation: 

 

Louise Wade, an Aromatherapist who works with essential oils and educating women on stress management.


Freya Krysia, an Astrologist dedicated to helping you reconnect with your true self through facilitating Kundalini Activation - an experience where you're allowed to let whatever needs to come out, come out.

Here's what the day will look like:

(Exact timing will be more flexible on the day)

10am - Arrival, Intentions, & Breakfast

​Arrive at the house, meet the other women in the retreat, and enjoy a breakfast together to start the day off. After breakfast, we will be fasting from food until dinner.

 

10:45am Guided Journaling & Intention Setting

Enjoy a journaling session where you reflect on the old, and what you want with the new - the reconnection. Set your intention for the day and what you hope to shed away from.

 

11:15am Nature Walk & Emotion Circle

Take a walk through a beautiful park of Priorslee around a pond and through the woods, where you'll join the other women in a circle of emotion, letting go of the negative and taking in the positive.

 

12:15pm Guided Meditation + Journal Time

After our walk, take time to reflect on your transformation by experiencing a guided meditation, being able to pull a special message card, and have time to journal, lie outside (hopefully in the sunshine), and ponder.

 

1:00pm Aromatherapy Workshop

Louise is an Aromatherapist with an extensive background in SEN teaching and working with women and children. Join her as she educates you on emotions and how you can use doTERRA essential oils in your life and home to manage stress. Take home a roller bottle made just by you!

 

2:00pm Kundalini Activation Session

Freya will be facilitating this session, where you will have the opportunity to awaken your dormant life force energy held at the base of your spine. You will lie on a yoga mat, start with a meditation to calm and ground you, and feel your energy work through your body, helping you let go of old emotion, awaken your life force, and help realign you with you. (More information can be found below.)

 

4:00pm Recovery

Enjoy some time to relax, lie down, have alone time, journal, chat, eat some snacks, or go on a walk - whatever you feel you need after the Kundalini session.

 

4:30pm Dinner

We’ll join together again at the end of the day to share a nutritious meal, talk about our experiences, and enjoy each other’s company.

 

5:30pm Departure

Head home feeling transformed, moved, and new.

The day will be hosted and held in a spacious home in Priorslee, Telford. The exact address will be sent upon booking.

 

I've done all that I can to curate a space that feels welcoming, calming, uplifting, and, well, like home. Give yourself a break in someone else's space, a space where your needs will be taken care of and you can focus on your transformation.

 

I will lead you through each part of the retreat, cook the meals, and host you in my home.

 

Dietary needs will be met as the group is booked, so please let me know if you have any allergies or specific needs.

 

Please note: there will be a periodof fasting from food between breakfast and dinner for the Kundalini Activation Session. If you have concerns with this, please reach out to me.

Kundalini Activation

 

Kundalini Activation is a somatic, energy-based experience that supports the awakening of your innate life force energy through the body. Participants lie down comfortably and receive an energetic transmission, allowing the nervous system and energy body to respond naturally and at their own pace.

 

The experience can support the release of stored emotional and energetic tension, help soften long-held patterns in the nervous system and restore a sense of presence, clarity and inner connection.

 

This is not breath work, meditation, or movement-led practice. There is no effort or forcing involved. Simply trust and surrender to your inner wisdom. Each experience is unique and may include deep relaxation, emotional release, subtle or spontaneous movement, heightened awareness or a sense of clarity and connection.

 

This group session is suitable for both first-timers and those familiar with somatic or energetic practices. No prior experience is required.

During the session, you will be lying on a yoga mat with an optional pillow and blanket. There will be loud music for 1 hour, so if you are sensitive to music and light, please bring ear plugs and a sleeping mask.

 

Aromatherapy Workshop

 

Essential oils and aromatic materials will be used in this portion of the day, along with a diffuser for other parts of the day. Please make a note of this as you book in case you have allergies, sensitivities, or medical conditions that may be affected.

 

What do I need to wear?

 

We suggest wearing something that you feel comfortable in that allows for free movement. We will be going on a mile and a half walk including a portion through forest, so accommodate for the possibility of brushing trees, bushes, etc. If the weather is rainy, windy, or cold, please bring outerwear that would suit the weather for a walk.

 

What do I need to bring?

 

We may ask some participants to bring yoga mats or blankets as needed, but other than that, bring what you need to feel comfortable and at ease. 

 

If you’d like to stay hydrated throughout the day, you may bring a water bottle to keep with you, but cups and water will be provided.

 

What do I need to do to prepare?

 

In preparation for this event, please avoid stimulants the day of including coffee, black tea, and energy drinks. Also please avoid drugs and plant medicine for 2-3 days before.

This retreat includes breathwork, meditation, movement practices, essential oils, and outdoor walking. These activities may involve inherent physical, emotional, and environmental risk 

 

This retreat may not be suitable for individuals who are pregnant or who have a history of serious mental health conditions (including psychosis, epilepsy, or severe anxiety). If unsure, please consult a healthcare professional before booking. 

 

Participants are responsible for their own physical, mental, and emotional wellbeing throughout the retreat. 

 

Participants may opt out of any activity at any time. The organiser reserves the right to ask a participant to leave if necessary for safety or group wellbeing.

A full payment is required to book. Cancellations before 14 days will receive a half refund. Cancellations within 14 days are non-refundable.
