Bio
Nadia is a film and media composer, drawn to creating music that connects people through emotion and evoke worlds of imagination. She began her musical journey at an early age, learning piano through the Suzuki Method, composing almost as early as she could play. Ballet and dance further influenced her understanding of rhythm, melody, and motion, revealing how music interacts with the body and human experience.
Her passion for composition led her to study Film Scoring at Berklee College of Music, where she earned her Bachelor's degree in 2020. During her
time at Berklee, she honed her skills in composition, writing contrapuntal harmonies, learning music technologies, collaborating with other composers and artists, and re-scoring scenes of films.
Nadia now lives in the UK, composing for a variety of projects that range from comedic films and animations to dance pieces, podcasts, and music for content creators and small businesses. She recently attended a film residency in southern France, where she worked closely on set with directors to better understand the world of film. Her other work includes composing film scores for And the Rest is Her Story (2025), Holy Rollers (2024), The Landing (2022), and I've Got a Thing for Blondes (2021).
Whether composing for dance, film, or other artistic projects, Nadia's music is guided by a desire to create emotional, immersive, and transportive experiences -- drawing the listener into a different world.
Alongside her composition work, Nadia runs the podcast The Composer's Life and newsletter The Composer's Studio, a project dedicated to empowering composers in their careers (or hobby). Through these platforms, she explores topics such as music theory and composition techniques, resources for composers, business tips, and gives listeners a behind-the-scenes look at a composer's life through her own experiences and interviews with other music industry professionals.
