ABOUT ME
I started..
... composing music at seven years old.
I loved (and still do) turning on Disney sound tracks from my favorite movies - like The Little Mermaid or Beauty and the Beast - and acting out the entire movie (including all of the singing and dancing) as a child.
My dance and piano lessons influenced me with other great music by great composers - Bach, Beethoven, Chopin, Tchaikovsky, Stravinsky, and so many more.
With all of this influential music surrounding me, I was drawn time and time again to the piano to write the melodies I heard in my head.
I wanted to be good enough to make those songs, the ones that got stuck in my head and made me want more than anything else to follow my dreams.
So I decided I must become a film composer.
Although it...
... did a lot to stop a lot of progress in the physical world, it made me have to think outside of the box about how I'd achieve my dreams of becoming the world's greatest film composer.
I started a podcast called 'The Composer's Life',
I composed for students' short films,
And I continued self-educating on topics like composing and music theory and technology.
Now, I compose for creators: YouTubers, podcasters, film makers, small business brands, choreographers, and experience makers.
And I'd love to create music for YOU.
Contact me to schedule a meeting, and we can see what possibilities await for your project!
My aspirations..
.. led me to study Film Scoring at Berklee College of Music.
I spent three grueling years writing contrapuntal harmonies and art songs, rescoring scenes from films like The Incredibles and Hunger Games, taking tests on jazz harmony and classical music theory and instrumentation (and in between all of this, I took two years off to live in France and become bilingual), learning about recording and editing and using DAWs and technology to make new and interesting sounds until FINALLY, I graduated with my Bachelor's Degree in the year of 2020.
Yes, I graduated during that unfortunate year.
