I am passionate about writing music that will draw the audience into the story; pin-pointing emotions as they weave through scenes, building new worlds with unique sound, and helping the story form into a cohesive narrative.

Our work together isn't just about your story accompanied by my music; it's a collaboration meant to bring your film to its highest potential. You bring your vision, I bring my expertise in music, and together, we create.

Here's what I can do, and what I strive to achieve with each project:

Compose music for features, shorts, and trailers

Create themes for plot points, characters, and settings that support both the world and the story, and help the audience draw connection

Write music that supports pacing and features distinctive, memorable themes — helping audiences connect more deeply with the world of the film and remember it

Take a collaborative approach, aiming to realize your vision while bringing my expertise to the film score

the process

1. Initial Meeting (Spotting Session)

We have a spotting session where we watch and talk through your film, story, and any musical ideas that you have (playlists, moods, or nothing at all). We also cover timelines, expectations, and payment so that everything is clear from the get-go.

2. Theme Ideas

I draft musical ideas, then share them with you for feedback, working towards the base of what the music will be built off of. If the film is not yet picture-locked, they'll be provided as audio demos.

3. Film Scoring

Once the film is picture locked, I compose the full score. I share updates along the way and refine the music based on your feedback until the score fits your vision.

4. Delivery

You receive the following:

All music cues as audio files
A reference sheet with timings
A reference film with music, with and without SFX
Any other files you require from me

I adapt to your schedule - whether you have two days or two months until you need the music done, I dedicate the time needed to make the best music.

Pricing: Cost is quoted per project, taking into account your film's budget, the amount of music needed, and how quickly you need it done. The final quote doesn't just represent the music you'll receive; it includes all the work and time behind it, including time taken to compose, revise, record, and mix each cue.

No matter your budget, we can schedule a free initial call to talk over your music needs, and I can follow up with an estimated quote.

Note that things like short timelines, multiple revisions may add to the cost, but all of those elements can be discussed during the Spotting Session.
